Links that expire when you say so

Set an expiration date on any short link. It redirects normally until then, then shows visitors a clean expiration page, while every click it earned stays in your analytics. Included on every plan, including Free.

When a link should stop working

Limited-time offers

Discount codes and flash sales shouldn't live forever. Set the link to expire with the promotion so old posts can't redeem a dead deal.

Event registration

Close signups automatically at the deadline. The link you printed on posters and shared in emails simply stops accepting visitors.

Time-boxed access

Share a document, preview, or download that should only be reachable this week. When the window closes, the link closes with it.

How expiration works

  • 1. Pick an expiration date when you create the link, or add one to an existing link later.
  • 2. Until that moment, the link redirects at full speed with full analytics, like any QCK link.
  • 3. After it expires, visitors see a clear expiration page (HTTP 410 Gone). No broken redirect, no dead deal redeemed.
  • 4. Change your mind any time: extend the date or remove it, and the same short URL keeps working.

Expiration is included on every plan, including Free. See the pricing page for what else each tier includes.

Common questions

What is an expiring link?

An expiring link is a short link with an end date. It works normally until the date you set, then stops resolving. Visitors see a clear "link expired" page instead of the destination.

What do visitors see after a link expires?

A clean expiration page, served with HTTP status 410 Gone, the standard signal that the content was intentionally removed. No broken redirect, no confusing error.

Can I extend or remove the expiration later?

Yes. Edit the link any time to push the date out or remove the expiration entirely. The short URL you already shared keeps working, no need to re-send anything.

Can a link expire after a number of clicks?

Not currently. QCK expiration is date-based. You can watch a link's click count in real time and disable it manually at any threshold you like.

Do I keep the analytics after a link expires?

Yes. Expiration stops the redirect, not your data. Every click recorded before the expiry date stays in your dashboard, subject to your plan's data retention.

Is link expiration a paid feature?

No. Expiration dates are included on every plan, including Free.

Put an end date on your next campaign link

Combine expiration with a password for time-boxed private sharing, or add a tracked QR code for print campaigns that end on schedule.
